DEAN, Harvey Oscar - Putnam

Harvey Oscar Dean, 67, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Inez Moreland, in Indianapolis Saturday afternoon. Born, May 24, 1869, in Putnam Co., the son of Jesse and Mary Hargan Dean. He married Mary Henson, March 1, 1893. She died November 30, 1924. Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Moreland, Mrs. Carlos Clark of near North Salem and Mrs. Ralph Davidson of Indianapolis, three brothers; Joe and Frank Dean of near here, and Clay Dean of near Parkersburg, a sister, Mrs. Clara Brown of Danville; two step brothers, Walter and Alva Ford of near here, twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Barnard Baptist church, with burial in Roachdale cemetery   --- thanks so very much to Marilyn W. for sharing her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated !.
